Is this a Muslim dating app?
No. There is no swiping, no feed, and no profile gallery to scroll. Profiles are text only and never public, introductions are proposed by a person rather than an algorithm, and the whole service is built for marriage intent only.
Is it free to join?
Yes. Creating a profile, being proposed introductions, and the moderated conversation with the wali are all free, for as long as you need them. There is a single fee of $11 (launch offer, normally $39) per side, asked only at the step where contact details are released so the two families can arrange to meet.
Can I join if I do not have a wali?
Yes. A sister who has no Muslim male relative, for example a revert sister, can nominate a trusted family member such as her sister to take the guardian role in the conversation, and an imam can act as wali for the nikah itself. What is not possible here is a conversation with no guardian at all.
Who sees my profile and my photos?
Only a HalalHQ matchmaker, and then only the other side of an introduction you have both accepted. Before mutual interest, the other person sees a limited, anonymous card with no photo and no surname. Photos are optional, shared privately inside a match, and reviewed by our team before anyone sees them.
Where is HalalHQ Marriage available?
Australia. HalalHQ is an Australian halal lifestyle platform, and the marriage service is open to Muslims anywhere in Australia rather than to one city.
How do I start?
