يوم النفر والوداع
Prayer Notes
Stone all three Jamarat
WajibAfter Dhuhr, stone all three Jamarat in the same order and manner as the 11th: small pillar (7 pebbles), then middle pillar (7 pebbles), then large pillar (7 pebbles). Say 'Bismillah, Allahu Akbar' with each throw. Make dua after the small and middle pillars. Do not make dua after the large pillar.
The same rulings as the 11th apply.
Duas for this step
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Bismillah, Allahu Akbar
“In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest.”
Depart Mina (Nafr)
SunnahYou have two options: (1) Nafr al-Awwal (early departure): Leave Mina before sunset on the 12th. This is permissible and there is no sin. Allah says: 'Then whoever hastens [departure] in two days, there is no sin upon him, and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him, for one who fears Allah' (Quran 2:203, Sahih International). (2) Nafr al-Thani (late departure): Stay at Mina for the night of the 13th, stone all three Jamarat on the 13th after Dhuhr, then depart. Staying for the 13th is more virtuous.
Perform Tawaf al-Wida (Farewell Tawaf)
WajibBefore leaving Makkah, perform Tawaf al-Wida (the Farewell Tawaf). This is wajib for all pilgrims according to the majority of scholars. It should be the very last thing you do before departing Makkah. Circle the Kaaba seven times, then pray two rakahs behind Maqam Ibrahim. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Let none of you depart until the last thing they do is [Tawaf around] the House' (Sahih Muslim 1327). After completing Tawaf al-Wida, leave the mosque without turning your back to the Kaaba (walk backward or sideways if facing the Kaaba).
Tawaf al-Wida is wajib and must be performed before leaving Makkah.

“Glory be to Allah, all praise is for Allah, there is no god but Allah, Allah is the Greatest, and there is no power or strength except with Allah.”
Hajj is complete
SunnahYour Hajj is now complete. May Allah accept your Hajj and grant you Hajj Mabrur (an accepted Hajj). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'An accepted Hajj has no reward other than Paradise' (Sahih al-Bukhari 1773). And he said: 'Whoever performs Hajj for Allah's sake and does not commit any obscenity or transgression, they shall return as free from sins as the day their mother gave birth to them' (Sahih al-Bukhari 1521). Supplicate for yourself and the Ummah, and carry the spiritual transformation of this journey into your daily life.
