About This Event

This event is a blessed Ramadan Iftar Dinner hosted by Community Support Victoria Ltd in support of the Kilmore Islamic & Community Centre (KICC) project. The aim is to bring the community together to break fast, share a meal, and strengthen brotherhood and unity in the spirit of Ramadan. Attendees will experience Qur'an recitation, a short reminder, and a presentation on the Kilmore project and its progress. Tarawih prayers will also be held after 'Isha.

In Islam, there's a special blessing in providing food for a fasting person to break their fast. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in their own reward.
