Good to know

Ilim College is a prep to Year 12 Islamic independent school, established in 1995, and it is affiliated with Millî Görüş. The Kiewa campus runs boys' secondary classes and is listed at 26-44 Kiewa Crescent, Dallas VIC 3047, with phone (03) 9302 1150. Some directories spell it Kiewa Cres or Cescent. One directory lists postcode 3810, which appears to be an error because Dallas is 3047. Other Ilim campuses are at Dallas (30 Inverloch Crescent), Glenroy (48-50 Box Forest Road) and Doveton (25-35 Rowan Drive). Venue hire or event details should be confirmed directly with the college, since no event page or organiser information was found.

Poster gives Friday 23 October, 6:30-9:30PM, at ILIM College Kiewa Campus, 26-44 Kiewa Cres, Dallas VIC 3047, and the handle @melbournemuslimseminary. The Melbourne Muslim Seminary website says an earlier Madārij Nights session on Friday 21 August was guided by Dr Saied Altabaa; the poster does not name a speaker for the October session. The website also lists Ilim College's Kiewa campus at the same Dallas address, and a Kiewa campus directory page confirms that address.

Fact 1:Islamic Significance

Gatherings focused on the stations of the seekers draw on classical works such as Madarij al-Salikin, which map the stages a believer passes through on the heart's journey toward Allah. Study of these stages is valued in Islamic tradition because it helps believers examine sincerity, patience, and reliance on God, supporting a steadier inner life and more deliberate worship.

Fact 2:About Community Events

Multi-session series like this one let participants build understanding step by step, with each evening building on the last. Attendees can join at any point in the series, and the format encourages reflection, questions, and discussion among people who share a common interest in spiritual development.
