Supplications for your journey to Makkah

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Subhanal-ladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrineen, wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqaliboon

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, for we could never have accomplished this by ourselves. And to our Lord is our return.

Allahumma inna nas'aluka fi safarina hadha al-birra wat-taqwa wa minal-amali ma tardha. Allahumma hawwin alayna safarana hadha watwi anna bu'dah. Allahumma antas-sahibu fis-safar wal-khaleefatu fil-ahl. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safar wa ka'abatil-mandhar wa su'il-munqalabi fil-mali wal-ahl

O Allah, we ask You on this journey for righteousness, piety, and deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and shorten its distance. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Guardian of the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel, the gloom of return, and an evil sight in property and family.

Allahumma mahilli haythu habastani

O Allah, I will complete my rites wherever You prevent me.

Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise, grace, and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner.

Entering Masjid al-Haram

Upon entering the Sacred Mosque and seeing the Ka'bah

Bismillah, was-salatu was-salamu ala Rasulillah. Allahumma-ftah li abwaba rahmatik

In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy.

Tawaf

Supplications during the 7 rounds around the Ka'bah

Bismillah, Allahu Akbar

In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest.

Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina adhaban-nar

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Glory be to Allah, all praise is for Allah, there is no god but Allah, Allah is the Greatest, and there is no power or strength except with Allah.

After Tawaf

At Maqam Ibrahim and when drinking Zamzam

Wat-takhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla

And take the station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer.

Allahumma inni as'aluka ilman nafi'an wa rizqan wasi'an wa shifa'an min kulli da'

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, abundant provision, and cure from every illness.

al-Mustadrak al-Hakim 1739; Daraqutni 2738 (narration of Ibn Abbas) (Hasan)

Sa'i

Walking between Safa and Marwah

Innas-Safa wal-Marwata min sha'a'irillah. Abda'u bima bada'Allahu bih

Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. I begin with what Allah began with.

There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and all praise, and He has power over all things. There is no god but Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and defeated the confederates alone.
