Hajj 2026 is less than two months away, have you started preparing?
Assalamu alaikum brothers and sisters. Hajj this year falls on 24 to 29 May inshaAllah and the booking window for Australian pilgrims is closing fast. If you or someone in your family is planning to go this year, now is the time to finalise your travel arrangements.
For anyone who has not seen it yet, HalalHQ has a Hajj guide with step by step rituals, a city guide for Makkah with sacred sites and tips, and over 200 restaurant listings across Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah so you know where to eat near the Haram.

For those who have done Hajj before, what advice would you give to first timers? Which travel agency did you go with from Australia and would you recommend them? InshaAllah this thread can help someone who is still deciding.

Assalamu alaikum. My wife and I performed Hajj a few years ago and it was the most profound experience of our lives. My advice to first timers is to focus on physical preparation. You will be walking more than you expect, especially during the days of Mina and Arafat. Comfortable shoes are more important than anything else you pack. May Allah accept the Hajj of everyone travelling this year.

My parents went last year and they said the heat was the biggest challenge. Start getting used to walking in warm weather now if you can. Also pack electrolyte sachets, my mum said that was the one thing she wished she had brought more of. InshaAllah for everyone going this year.
