$25 million government security grant for mosques, Islamic schools and community centres

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. I want to bring this to everyone's attention because many mosque committees may not know about it yet. The Australian Government has announced a $25 million Security Uplift program specifically for Muslim community organisations. It covers CCTV, access controls, lighting, fencing, and alarm systems for mosques, Islamic schools, and community centres. ANIC is administering the program and Expressions of Interest close on 24 April 2026.
