Fact 1:Islamic Significance

Memorising the Qur'an is a deeply revered act in Islam. A person who has memorised the entire Qur'an is known as a Hafiz, a title of great honour and spiritual distinction. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said the best among Muslims are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it.

Fact 2:About Class Events

Islamic classes, especially Qur'an circles or 'halaqahs', are more than just lessons. They are intimate gatherings that foster brotherhood and spiritual focus. This small group setting allows for personalised guidance from the teacher, creating a supportive environment for the profound journey of memorising the sacred text.

When is Hifdh Program?

This is a recurring program starting Tuesday, 21st October. Classes are held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday between Maghrib and Isha prayers.

Where is Hifdh Program held?

The venue is still to be determined but will be at a mosque in Preston, Victoria.

Is this event free or do I need to register?

This program is completely free to attend. No registration is required, so attendees can simply join the class.

Is this event suitable for families and children?

This program is specifically for brothers of all ages. It is not a mixed-gender family event.

What should I bring or prepare for this event?

The only prerequisite for this program is that attendees must be able to read the Qur'an. This ensures everyone can actively participate in the memorisation sessions.
